Assistant Coach Welcome to one of the most active roles in an Interactive Residency! Regardless of the nature of the event (coaching, teaching, exchanging) or the content (dance, theater, music) this role will always be active, interesting, challenging, and an essential component in the ease and flow of communication between two sites. In a traditional TV or videoconferencing environment this role is referred to as that of the Switcher, but we here at TPL have expanded this role beyond the technical aspect of selecting and sending an image. For us this role is an integral part of our model and involves a dynamic collaboration with the Cameraperson and the Coach. So to assist you in thinking outside of the box we have renamed this role to reflect it's actual role within our model, Assistant Coach.
