Now, it may not be so obvious that the different dance forms each required an adaptation of the coaching model. The relationship of WEB to interactive studio varied enormously, as did the way the coaches used the screen.
Chris Aiken, for example, aimed to hone performance skills, so he tended to work in three dimensional space -- back and forward in front of the screens. Madeleine Scott and Marcia Chapman were concerned with the quality of movement, as dancers recreated movement phrases from Laban Motif Notation.
