In January and February 2001, noted dancer-choreographer Chris Aiken conducted 17 interactive classes on contact improvisation. From the TPL Interactive Studio in the Hennepin Center for the Arts in Minneapolis, MN, Chris and his dancers connected with an interactive studio in Athens, Ohio. Ohio University School of Dance coach Madeleine Scott coached from there. Her dancers partnered with the dancers in Minnesota.

Chris' introductory classes were based on the exercises in the screens, right:

Each of the dancers contributed a PROFILE in movement to the classes. Here's an example!

Chris has been thinking a great deal about the interactive experience.  Some of his reflections as a performing artist and coach have been gathered HERE.
